Herzlich Willkommen bei PULS
Oberbürgermeister
Thomas Geisel

PULS-Team

PULS Team© Oliver Erdmann

We're always excited about welcoming new faces, the commitment of all the PULS-people, great ideas and activities, the "PULS-spirit", our warm and hearty community and cooperation and our visibility within the city! You can approach us any time, we will always lend an ear to the small and bigger joys and worries, we organise, make phone calls, plan and keep everything together.

Project-Team

Projekt-TeamBene, Jackie, Jacky, Nino & Nils

The project-team is your contact point for any wishes, ideas or suggestions concerning  anything to do with PULS.

Our actions reach from athletic activities such as canoeing and climbing to creative projects like our fabric&Co. workshop or political involvement such as demonstration visits, discussion evenings with contemporary witnesses and trips to e.g. the memorial to victims of the Nazi regime in Düsseldorf.

Counter-Team

Theken-TeamMarc, Katharina, Jonathan, Jonas & Jan

We are the counter-team at PULS and we are a very diverse group: we are lesbian, gay, bi, trans* and heterosexual youths and young adults, some of us have been a part of PULS for a long time while others are still relatively new.

By organising everything around and behind the counter, we support and represent PULS - just like all the other teams do through their work. We welcome new youths, show them around and make sure that they feel comfortable and welcome and that they quickly become a part of the large PULS-family.

We have team meetings with Jannis but we largely work independently, decide what is needed and what we want to order. The drinks that we serve at PULS are ordered by us and we keep an eye on the stocks, so that we always have enough of everything. In order for youths to be able to afford it, we keep our prices low.

Library-Team

Bücherei-TeamLuca & Katharina

PULS has its very own little library. We, the library team, are very happy about all the enthusiastic readers at PULS. We have novels and non-fiction books in the lesbian, gay, bi and trans* area and we have changing topics. Borrowing a book is very simple! Why don't you just browse through our shelves a little?

Kultur*imPULS-Team

Kultur*imPULS TeamLennart, Vera & Simon

Together we organise Kultur*imPULS - an open group night for young people from all cultural backgrounds. This is taking place every second Friday of the month. We are looking forward to interesting and varied evenings! You can find our offers online on the PULS website. Bis bald! À bientôt! See you soon!

Newcomer-Team

Newcomer TeamJonathan & Katharina

Once a month PULS opens its doors an hour earlier because your first time at PULS can be very exciting and maybe a bit scary too, and it's easier to have a look around when not too many people are there yet. We, the newcomer team, are looking forward to showing our second home to new faces and welcoming them into the PULS-family.

20+ Team

Ü20 TeamElena, Joy & Josi

Every fortnight on Wednesday evenings, PULS-people aged 20 years and older have their own space at PULS. We organise the 20+ evenings and ensure that everything runs smoothly (but, to be honest, it's becoming a more and more autonomically organised thing anyway). We take responsibility for the program of this autonomous offer, decide collectively about future plans and activities, create an atmosphere in which all different kinds of topics can be addressed and are always happy to see new faces!

There is a lot we can learn from each other! We present and facilitate debates, organise and allow for valuable exchanges between women aged 14 to 85!
